Promotion for “Gleason” (2016) Documentary about Steve Gleason living with ALS.

Facebook post to followers of “The Panamerica” (ALS Association Fundraiser)

The #Gleason documentary starts playing all over the place this Friday. The Panamerica guys were honored to be invited to the LA premier, and the movie did not disappoint.

You should see it.

It's like watching a superhero movie, but you have all the same superpowers the heroes do. Actually, assuming you can wipe your own ass, you have more powers than some.

It's one of those movies where you walk out of the theater a different person than when you walked in. You're a better person, or at least you want to be.

You want to have the courage that Steve does.

You want to have the strength that Michel does.

You want to believe you are half as charismatic as Blair.

It's an incredible story, and it's not sad. It's powerful, and it makes you realize that some people are just plain awesome. The Team Gleason motto is "Awesome Ain't Easy" but when you watch this movie, you'll realize that being awesome could be a lot harder than you thought, and some people still manage to pull it off.
